It's what we've all been waiting for: a clear presentation of each 2023 Kia Sportage trim level available in Canada along with prices for each version of the all-new, fifth-generation version of Kia Canada's longest-running vehicle.
The Sportage was there when it all kicked off for Kia Canada in 1999. There was a new Sportage launched for the 2005 model year, another all-new Sportage in 2011, and then the outgoing fourth-gen Sportage that ran from 2017 through 2022. This new 2023 Sportage is bigger (with best-in-class cargo volume), stronger (the N3 platform is remarkably structurally stiff), and more expansive in its offerings than ever before: there'll be gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid versions of the new Sportage.
For the conventionally-powered gas version of the 2023 Sportage, there will be six different trim levels. It starts with LX and the LX with all-wheel-drive, and then four more that all feature all-wheel-drive as standard equipment: X-Line, EX, EX Premium, and X-Line Limited. Here's the key breakdown.
